The 5th annual Arizona Gives Day is just over a month away. Like similar events across the country, Arizona Gives is a 24 hour online giving marathon designed to benefit local nonprofits and strengthen local communities. Arizona Gives, with the help of supporting sponsors like 1st Bank, Unisoure Energy, Vitalyst, and Intel have raised more than $10.1 million for Arizona’s nonprofit community since 2013.
This year’s event will be held April 3rd. Organizations who have not participated before, still have time to register, but must do so by March 3rd. A step by step guide to registering and setting up your new profile will be provided, as well as nonprofit social media toolkits and trainings to help you make the most of the event.
Any Arizona-based 501c3 or 501c3 that provides services in Arizona can participate. There are no registration fees, and participating non-profits can win up to $ 175,000 in incentive prize money. Participants are provided with a customized organization donation page with a personalized link as well as the ability for supporters, volunteers, and staff to make their own personal fundraisers. Donations must be made online on AZ Gives.org during 24 time period, but you do not need to have a merchant account to participate.
With plenty of support from the AZ Gives Foundation and Alliance of Arizona Non-Profits, this easy, low-overhead event should be a part of every Arizona non-profits fundraising plan.
